Titanium
Titanium alloys offer an exceptional strength‑to‑weight ratio and outstanding corrosion resistance due to their stable titanium oxide passive layer. Commercially pure grades such as Grade 1 and Grade 2 provide excellent corrosion resistance in marine, chemical, and chloride‑rich environments.
With a density of approximately 4.5 g/cm³, titanium is around half the weight of stainless steels, duplex alloys, and nickel‑based alloys, delivering significant weight savings for critical applications. This makes titanium highly valuable across industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, FPSO vessels, Power Generation, Desalination, Chemical Processing, Biomedical, Motorsport, Sports Equipment, and many other sectors where material performance is essential.
